Vivid Dreams Photography | Wedding Photographers & Videographers

For videography and photography we hired Vivid Dreams Photography. They also did our takha preshoot and short edit video which they did an amazing job on! I’ll forever cherish the pictures they took and can’t wait for the rest of the pictures and next day edit to be finished! They’re really sweet and fun to work with. At the end of the day, they genuinely care about their clients and don’t just care about the $$.

I honestly wasn’t happy with the way they handled the situation. They gave me the option of either returning 50% of my deposit or transferring it to someone else, but it must be used 2 years from the date of my wedding. This sounds like a standard cancellation policy to me but they made it seem like this was a favour for me. Their position was: we could have booked with someone else who would have had their wedding or postponed their wedding. But from the stories and comments Iv seen from ladies trying to rebook their weddings, its not easy to book all the same vendors a year, or more, from the date of your original wedding. So i feel if they weren’t keeping my deposit, they would have been keeping someone else’s. I believe the ethical thing for them to do was either return my deposit or retain my deposit with no time restriction. I am not postponing my wedding so a $4,060 deposit to a photographer doesn’t help me. On top of that, if i can find someone to transfer it to, it has to be within the next 2 years. I was dealing with so much already that the last thing i needed to be doing was chasing people around trying to sell a deposit. They did connect me with one of their clients to sell my deposit to so i guess they get points for that…but that could also just be an incentive for someone to book with them so i dont see that as them trying to help me out. They could have dealt with it better as covid wasn’t the only obstacle i was facing. Im sure their work is great and they may be awesome to work with if your day goes exactly as planned but if issues arise, i dont see them being a helping hand.

We would like to thank the entire team for not only meeting our expectations but going above and beyond to capture the beautiful moments of our wedding. Every single team member was a pleasure to work with. They included a surprise in our next day edit video which left everyone speechless. The pre-shoots were a lot of fun and turned out amazing. There are only good things to be said about Vivid Dreams. We initially booked because they did both photography and videography which is something we were looking for and we do not regret our decision. Very professional and have great work ethics.

I just had my wedding this past July and wanted to give a review on Vivid Dreams Photography. They did an amazing job at all our pre-wedding events as well as our wedding and reception. They went above and beyond to provide help for the small details for everything to go smooth, especially when it came to helping my husband with his wedding speech, fixing his sherwani and his tie for our pictures. They also helped both sides of my family with providing guidance for the different rituals and provided advice and positive encouragement to our family who were MC’ing for the first time at our reception. The entire team were so easy to work with and made us comfortable in every moment. We felt that the team really took the time to get to know both of us and both sides of our families and listened to all of our requests. They also blew our families away with the NDE video that was played at the reception which included clips of the reception which was the perfect touch. Overall, we highly recommend them to anyone getting married. They are very professional, easy to communicate with and very accommodating. You will not be disappointed!! We can’t wait to use them again in the future for other events!

Without them guiding our family the whole week, we would be lost.
