I had such a horrible experience with this lady. We initially went into her store to look for indian outfits, I needed about 3 to 4. I thought I would give one a try. I expressed to her I didn’t wsnt to order from india to save the headache I would order from here and let her take on the work. I expressed to her its a very close wedding and showed her a pic I need the material and duputta elegant nothing cheap looking she said it would be 400 plus. I said no problem. 6 weeks later the suit is not what I showed her I expressed to her that I paid so much and I am not satisfied th4 color was different and it did not match the khadai. She kept saying it’s handwork it’s handwork it’s better than machine work. The material was soon cheap I cant even express how awful it looked. It was that paper silk and the duputta had some old school gotta on it and it was the cheap material even though she herself said she would add pearls and what not it. The sharara khadai was so ugly it wasn’t even even on the bottom. I had to get it altered and from back corner it bubbles up she said that’s how it Is I’ve worn many suits and none of th4m bubbled up. She did not budge she did not once apologize or even offer half of a refund or even offer to make something alike. I was so upset after spending $400 plus it was such a horrible experience. Save yourself th4 awful experience and shop another place this place is ridiculous. Save your time and money ladies.
I would not recommend Royal boutique. The owner was extremely rude to my mom. We ordered a lot of suits from her for my brothers wedding. She messed up a few and argued with my mom. She used cheap materials on my lehenga when I asked for real mirrors and it wasn’t the correct design. She made it right by getting it re-made but it came very late. She also says she will send you progress photos but you need to ask many times for them. The outfits were nice but the main issue was the customer service. She also body shamed my mom and would not admit to her mistakes
For Royal boutique I would rate the customer service experience a 3/10.
Attention everyone! Please Stay Away From Royal Boutique in York Centre Surrey 128/80.She has no people skills or any kind of customer service. She does not apologize or try to make it right even though it is her fault. She promises but doesn’t keep them. I had really and I mean really bad experience with her. She has zero customer service skills plus she is the biggest liar in the universe. I ordered mine and my two daughters’ outfits. First she quoted me a price, then later on after i placed the order, she gave me a different and a much higher price.Not sure if the outfits ever arrived as i have not received them til this day”and she kept my deposit and refuses to return it. She charges extra prices, then she puts the blame on you that you misheard her. The order was promised to be ready by July 10th, 2023. I called her many time. she would not answer my calls or reply to my messages. The one time she answered my phoned, she was super rude and told me (in very rude punjabi) that I’m bothering her. I ended up going in on July 17th(meanwhile there was a function going on at the house in Chilliwack) and she would not give me proper answer and also told me that sometimes a bridal outfits arrives the day before wedding, (she said this was normal), my response was did the bride enjoy her wedding? She also walked out on me and came back after 1 hour.That was enough for me(i was so upset), as her customer service, sorry what customer service, she is a scammer. we had a theme color for my brother’s wedding,when I should have been enjoying I was stressing.she ruined everything and now she refuses to give me my deposit back it’s over $1100. I went in Aug 6,2023 to resolve this and still no outfits and still refuses to return the deposit.

We also went to her to buy outfits and she has a terrible attitude. She promises one thing but the quality she delivers is below standards, totally don’t recommend someone with an ego like that. Prefer supporting others that actually deliver what they promise and make your experience feel memorable.
So glad someone spoke about this. I was her loyal customer for years..when she started this in her garage. But the last visit with her..things have changed. She stitched my daughter’s suit and i paid $100, she said she will give me change back-$ 40 next visit and now she completely denies it and says she does not remember. I bought two suits from her a few months ago and paid for stitching, since i was pregnant at the time i did not get them stitched then…she said come back anytime and get them stitched. I went to get the suits stitched now and she is asking for stitching again!!
She has a suit for alteration since January which is paid for and has not given it to me after multiple visits to the store, comes up with an excuse every time!! Most likely she has lost my suit and is making excuses.
She did the same to my mom. My mom bought a suit for $250. She did not have cash so she used her debit card to pay. My mom did not pay attention while paying but when she looked at her bank statement she had charged $291. We questioned her about it and she she said it is tax. She never mentioned that to my mom when she was paying for it??? We asked that if she is charging us tax then she should give us a proper invoice. Even with 12% tax the amount should be $284 and not $291??!!? She did not accept what she did and just making excuses. My mom feels so cheated of her hard earned money. My mom is a single mom and works so hard 😔
The owner is so rude and overpriced. She’s about quantity not quality. My friend had a similar experience when she was working out of her garage. Her seamstress screwed up her moms suit and she refused to take responsibility for it. Instead of fixing it she said take it somewhere else we don’t have time to fix it. And of course no refund or compensation. I guess some things never change.
I also had a bad experience with her. She never takes ownership of her mistakes and makes it your fault somehow . I would never recommend her or her shop to anyone.
