Communication was easy, food was good everyone loved it. The décor was not exactly what we spoke about, but it was still beautiful. It just would have been nice if they were able to let me know that it wasn’t going to work the way we wanted it to! The next-door party was extremely loud and we could clearly hear all of their music, we had to go over and tell them to turn it down. We were told the walls were sound proof (as that was my concern) but nope it wasn’t. The party next door was reasonable, so it worked out.
House Dj – I had previously spoke with Taran and had sent him a very clear email of what songs when to play and even the YouTube links (some of the songs I wanted are particular versions that are not easy to find). Roughly an hour before I walk out I find out the Dj has no idea what he’s going to play. I called Taran and he said he’s sick so he’s not there but didn’t bother to forward my email to the new DJ. The reception downstairs is horrible so none of my emails were going through to the new dj either. Over all it did end up getting fixed and the new dj was great!

Punjab Banquet Hall has done a great job of helping us with our vision for the reception. Mr. Gill at Punjab is a really good guy, you just need to make that initial connection with him. He really cared about our business and wanted to give us a good experience. We were so happy with it that we decided to use them for the catering of our house events. Everyone raved about the food – I believe they have a new cook who has a lot of experience. The hall is quite nice and spacious and it was the perfect space for the party we were looking for. I would recommend Punjab – they are quite similar to all the other halls in that area and I know that they are trying hard to make it work for the younger generations.

We had booked this hall for my hall party. The food and service was very good, dj did a great job, and the decorations they provided was really pretty!

We booked this hall as we had heard many great things about them, and our experience as guests at this hall were never negative.
I had my nikkah ceremony held at Punjab Banquet Hall this past summer, and let me just start by saying I would never book an event there again. I had booked half the hall (on the main side). My entire event we could hear the music blasting from the other side, it ruined our speeches, and the nikkah ceremony itself. This was very disappointing as this was discussed well in advance and we were assured that there would be no noise interference between the 2 sides. Even after individuals from my wedding party had walked over to the other side to have this issue resolved, there was no change.
This hall also provided decor services, I decided to have them do the stage + centre pieces + walk way only (I had another decor company do my nikkah set up). My aisle was not set up in the middle like how I had asked, and discussed several times before the event, the stage decor was the opposite of what I had asked (i specifically asked her not to have a certain piece from a reference photo she showed me). And finally we had also booked the DJ they provide. I provided the DJ with a detailed document outlining songs & timings to be played. This was sent well in advance and discussed thoroughly. A couple hours before my event I sent the DJ a text just to check in, he responded saying he will not be the one djing the event. This caught me by surprise since had had been the one i was in contact with and if plans changed, he didn’t even have the decency to let me know of this. So approaching my event I didn’t even know who would be djing my event, this caused a lot of panick and anxiety as my family had to meet with this new dj and go over all the details so close to before the event started. I honestly don’t think the person who ended up djing my event was an actual DJ. He had absolutely no idea what he was doing. Individuals from my wedding party had to walk up to the dj booth throughout the entire event to get him to play the right song, there were many instances he played the wrong songs. When he was approached we found that he had his airpods in and was napping in the booth.
We did not receive services at the standard we had paid. This was very disappointing as these elements really ruined the event for me. I found them to be very unprofessional, and showed lack of care and concern after they had received payment.
