Poonams Kaurture held a pop up sale at Guildford Mall the first weekend of June. You had to buy a ticket to enter, it was around $15. I purchased a ticket online and was excited to check out her stuff in person, as it’s a mostly online business. I drove across town and went on the first day of her 3 day pop up sale. When I got there all of the lenghas and suits she had on the racks were size small. So I went up to Poonam and asked her if she had anything in size large. She looked at me and very rudely said “there is nothing here that will fit you.” I couldn’t believe how rude she was, I ended up walking out of the store. She could have at least advertised she was only selling small sizes before collecting $15 from everyone.
I have ordered two outfits from Poonam and they were ordered two years apart. Both outfits were sent to her celebrity and influencer friends and I saw them on them and decided to purchase. Both outfits were nothing like what she sent her famous friends. She sells regular people trash and poor quality clothing for an arm and a leg and when you email her about it she ignores you.
I ordered a reception lehenga cholli. I received the item on time. I spent over $500 and the sad part is the quality, it’s cheap cheap material, dull embroidery and looked like a cheap copy. So so so disappointed. I left a review on her insta and it was deleted an instant. No wonder there are only positive reviews. Poonam spends so much money on influencers parading her outfits but she should concentrate on the quality to get repeat Buisness. Buyers beware!!! You absolutely DO NOT get what you pay for!!!!!!!!’
Poonam had a pop up shop in Toronto and I bought a suit which is total shit. It was a simple suit which I paid $400 for. The material used for embroidery is freaking silver paper and it rips and peels off like paper. I would never ever buy anything from her ever again. It doesn’t shock me with all the bad reviews she has. The material she uses is super cheap and freaking just scamming people.
