Under no conditions use Mina Beauty and Hair. She didn’t show up for my wedding until bridal party had to leave (time was stipulated in the contract) for 7 girls. We were all so mad. Then she stole my cc information and tried to charge me full amount even though she didn’t do the hair.
She also didn’t do my hair and sent someone random last minute who didn’t do a great job, I had to put on dupatta and tikka myself and it fell apart and pulled off my makeup. Whole thing was an absolute disaster.

I used sonia’s henna art and absolutely loved her. She worked within my price and what I wanted. For mua I used ambreen atelier, also really good and prices were half compared to other mua’s that I searched
I do not recommend using Mina Beauty and Hair at all. My sister in law used them for her wedding in Niagara-on-the-lake. My make up was not my colour to start. they only had yellow and brown.. I have fair skin. You could see the difference in the colour of the make-up and my neck. Massive line. I stated this and they asked if they could use my make-up and applied this over top of the already existing make-up.. bizarre. None of the ladies liked their make-up unfortunately and the prices were jaw dropping. A few of the moms washed it off. $215 for them to use my make-up.. The make-up artist then asked if she could use my foundation for another person who was after me. At the end I noticed they had taken my make-up (maybe by accident). They had just left and said they had another event around the corner, so i figured since they were not even 10 minutes away they could deliver it now or on their way home. I did not hear from them at all. When I eventually heard from them, the told me i had to go get it in Etobicoke, which is an hour drive.. for something that was not my fault. I suggested meeting them half way, they deliver it, or reimburse me for the amount the foundation was worth. At one point they stated they would mail it.. but no follow up. They constantly ignored my texts, emails, and phone calls. For months. I then stated I was going to write a review and she was very rude and told me if I saw value in the product I need to pick it up. I can not believe how this company does business. Awful and beyond unprofessional. I would not use this company. Many many better ones out there. Beyond disappointed and how they treated a client.

Wanted to charge me an additional 200 dollars for an additional artist (it was in the contract that she added another girl) leading up to my date she wanted to charge me another 20.00 per person because everyone had shoulder length hair. Then she forged my name in a contract and copy and pasted my signature to a cancelation contract so I could not receive my 1,500.00 She is a scam artist do not book her!!!
I would not recommend using Mina for you hair needs. Very unprofessional. Constantly up charging people based on hair length. Out of 8 people who got their hair done only 2 people were happy with their hair. When bridesmaids asked for their hair to be fixed it was an additional cost. She was 1 hour late and had to rush for hair to be done. It was sloppy and not done by a professional. We could have done each others hair better. The price of hair was outrageous for the quality. Do not book with this artist.
Hey I saw a ton of terrible reviews of Mina hair and beauty but I had already sent them a $500 deposit before the reviews started rolling in. I was sick to my stomach over it for months until my wedding. Mina and her partner did an absolutely AMAZING job on me and all 6 of my bridesmaids. They were 10 minutes early to our appointment on the wedding day and finished with plenty of time for us to spare. They were professional and so amazing, I can’t say anything bad about this team. I am so happy I booked them, and did not see the bad reviews before I did. I’d book them again without hesitation. Y’all need to chill in these comments because these girls know what they’re doing. Thank you so much Mina Hair and Beauty for making me and my bridesmaids look as stunning as you did <3
I don’t know why I didn’t look at the reviews before sending the deposit. I have been trying to reach out to her via email since October last year to book a trial but she never responds. I emailed her asking for my deposit back but she doesn’t respond. She is active on her socials but doesn’t have time to respond to her clients. How unprofessional my god!
