I booked Metropolist Hall in 2019, and had to re-schedule several times due to COVID19. Andi (the Metropolist Hall employee) was very flexible and let us reschedule without any issues. She was even kind enough to help us secure a parking lot for guests to park at, at no extra charge (although this normally would cost money). The hall worked well for our guest list of about 200 people. I also liked that the hall let us bring in our own caterers, entertainment, etc, without hidden charges and fees. Also, given its location in SODO (South Downtown Seattle), we didn’t have to worry about noise complaints or anything.
Only note to make is that since the hall is very open to bringing your own vendors and staff, you are also required to bring a lot of your own inventory of items (although the hall provided plenty of chairs and tables). For example, we had to provide our own beverages, ice, ice chests, utensils, plates, napkins, water bottles, water pitchers, etc. They also don’t have a kitchen. These are the types of things to ask about when booking the hall, and really any hall that lets you bring all your own vendors, staff, and services.
