    I had an incredible customer experience at Meena Bazar. I had my wedding in may and was looking for my wedding dress to be customized. I went to so many famous designer shops in Surrey to get my dress but no one was able to get it done in such a short time period, but Meena Bazar was the only one store who took my order and got it done in 1 month. Even they costumed the matching Palla for my fiancĂ© as well as my matching punjabi jutti. I also got my bridesmaids dresses from them. I highly recommend Kanika and Gaurav. Its been 2 months now and still have half of my payment left as I got so busy but they never ask. they are so understanding & helpful. I will be a returning customer…Thank you so much Kanika and Gaurav for your excellent service…

    Worst experience with them, would never recommend them to anyone, they have no idea how to run a business or deal with customers.

    Hello i got my lehnga’s from MeenaBazar at little india plaza. There service was outstanding. Gaurav and kanika are the most generous couple i have ever seen. Its hard to find good stuff with great customer service in canada and at very reasonable price. I love shopping there. 100% recommended.

    Gaurav was really helpful. Literally in 19 days they got my LEHNGA made from india and shipped it here . It was simply the AMAZING 🤩. Everyone complimented on my LEHNGA . Quality and service wise they amazed me .

    This is my review for Meena Bazaar and the crazy whirlwind we went through.

    We came in at the end of January placed a large order and were told our 12 outfits would arrive in a month. That month turned into another month, then another, and eventually our outfits came at the end of April except for one. Which to do this day I still don’t know if it’s arrived or not. I had messaged them saying we won’t be taking it at this point because we didn’t want to risk it not being here for the wedding (wedding is in 2 weeks).

    There was no communication, we were calling and even going to the shop. Then I resorted to messaging Gaurav’s (manager) wife Kanika on IG on their business page and that seemed to work…until it didn’t. She verbatim said, “no idk did not see a DHL package” when I asked her if the outfit had arrived. They kept telling me a date but when the date arrived; no package. This happened so many times. Hence, why I let them know we just will not be taking the outfit. When the rest of the outfits arrived we did not like them. They made them completely wrong and made all my other aunt’s outfits look like my bridesmaids. All the chunnis were the wrong material, but we were promised new ones. Except we still don’t have them. We understand we got the outfits for a really good price but we were told we were insanely picky, told to leave the suits and that they can sell them in a second, and unethically Guarav cancelled all existing orders I had placed and even cancelled orders my in-laws had placed because he said he didn’t want to deal with us, but my in-laws had nothing to do with the fact that they had made all of our outfits incorrect. My in-laws were a taken back and let them know that’s not how you run a business and he ultimately gave them their outfit. By him cancelling I lost my 100$ deposit, but I didn’t even bother asking for it back because they were so difficult to deal with and ruined my wedding shopping.

    The worst part was, my moms outfit was 800$ (they wanted more) and it looked like any other outfit a guest would wear. It’s my wedding and I really wanted my mom to stand out. We emphasized we wanted the front to be very heavy and it just wasn’t. They kept saying it looks just like the drawing? What drawing? We didn’t see one. The top was too short and that’s because when we went to measure my mom they were in such a rush! Their store is always full of customers waiting to be helped. Regardless, we were relying on their professional opinions when they were doing the measurements, so at that point we were being blamed for their short comings. After all the headache and disappointment, we just wanted some sort of resolutions for the outfits and the solutions they were offering just weren’t making sense. Honestly, even if they said they’d make amends to the 12 outfits and make them accordingly, wasn’t feasible with our timeline. 12 l, especially with their communication (or lack there of) that’s a Hard no. At that point, I just wanted a resolution for my moms suit. Gaurav told me to pay the $800 and leave the outfit behind, if the outfit sold he said he would pay me back the 800$ In the end, I refused to take the outfit home and this upset the older man (his father?) and Gaurav. When I say upset, this older man was yelling and just earlier in the day he yelled at my aunt infront of other customers. Anyway, I went and got another outfit made for my mom for with insane amount of detail and the shop owners gave us many options in terms of pricing. Shout out to patiala fashion! They made my moms outfit and delivered it the day they specified.

    Meena Bazaar needs to perhaps stop taking on so many orders and focus on their customer service skills because it is completely unacceptable and inappropriate to cancel orders because you think (and tell the customers) they’re too picky (we weren’t we just wanted what he communicated), to have your management aggressively yell at us and humiliate customers infront of other customers and to outright not communicate anything about your customers orders. I can’t even encapsulate everything in this review without it being a short novel.
