Designer quality but budget friendly!
Only vendor I’m comfortable leaving an early review for because she’s the only one that’s caused me no stress. Wedding week is next week so I will be back to share more reviews on my vendors as wel as photos!!
Having had a lot of family weddings in Canada I knew there wasn’t a single outfit vendor here that I wanted to work with as many of my family and friends have previously worked with them and had bad experiences. I was looking at Ejaaz Couture until a wedding blogger I follow on IG posted about House of Musafir and I decided to reach out to them.
Best decision ever!!! Rav is based in Australia but her works with clients worldwide and everything is made in India. I think they’re relatively new but quality and service is unsurpassed. I got MUCH more out of my budget than I would have here in Canada. They are soo reasonably priced for the quality and everything is handmade! I was shocked by how far my money went with them compared to other quotes I was receiving.
I bought 2 outfits. One from their collection which I customized in another colour. Easy process. I wanted it tailored so rav took my measurements via virtual consult and the order was processed online through their website.
Bridal outfit was customized and when I say it is perfect….it is perfect!!! All done virtually. Consultation process was seamless. I provided a budget and she listened to all my ideas and created a sketch for me. When I was happy with all the details and she answered all my questions and Inwas happy to proceed, I got an order summary to check and sign to make sure we were on the same page which was soo helpful. It was something I continued to refer back to throughout the process in case there was anything I missed or they missed.
I paid a 50% deposit and process got started. I received a test garment for my blouse and skirt to make sure the fitting was good as wel as colour and embroidery samples for approval. Was able to make changes to the blouse neckline so loved that she sent me a test blouse as made me realize that what I initially chose didn’t flatter me.
Production started after this, got images and videos sent without having to chase up and she kept me updated on the process throughout. Entire process took 6 months.
I received it 2 months ago. They truly brought my vision to life and it fit like a glove! Quality is impeccable. Came in a beautiful dust bag as well. Have nothing bad to say. Honestly felt like I was working with a. Friend, so kind and understanding and very patient with answering questions. Loved my whole experience and grateful to have discovered this gem of a brand and person!
