We got both Sherwani and Lehenga from here. The outfits were amazing! Only complaint I have is get any agreements made with the shop in writing upon making them. They informed us initially that alterations after delivery (due to outfits being too big, etc.) would be covered and we wouldn’t have to pay out of pocket, yet come time to pick the outfits up months later and 1.5 months before the wedding, we had to pay out of pocket for tailoring/alterations and couldn’t argue since we live in Seattle so it wasn’t worth arguing while we have to drive the distance to get it done. Overall an average experience but wouldn’t go through them again
Ok so I don’t know what the reviews about Guru Bazaar say but since arriving in Vancouver from Alberta 10 years ago I have received nothing but amazing service at Guru Bazaar. They always seem to have pieces that I like at reasonable prices and Sunny (owner) has always been fair with his prices. I always try (because who doesn’t) to shop elsewhere but the prices are either too crazy or I feel pretty ignored when I go into stores since I show up in yoga pants with at least one child and dont speak Punjabi or Hindi. I feel discriminated (sad to say) in other stores.
I did all of my shopping at Guru Bazaar in Surrey! The owners were literally so helpful. I went to so many different places and then I remembered that two of my friends had bought all of their wedding stuff from here! They seriously have the best stuff and it was sooo reasonable so I don’t even know why I bothered looking at other places before!
