    The outfit was perfect however the service wasn’t good. I bought the outfit in feb and was told It would be ready by April however when I went in April they said they lost my number and measurements and that it was irresponsible of me to not contact them earlier. I took my outfit and got a top made by MuskanCollections in Payal business centre. They did a lovely job.

    This review is for Frontier Cloth House in Surrey. If I could sum up my experience after purchase – this place is a bride’s worst nightmare.

    I purchased a lengha for one of my pre-events, and was promised alterations within 1.5 weeks as it needed to be worn on September 7th. I was told to check up on it a couple days before September 5th (the promised pick up date). I called everyday from September 2nd to September 5th and there was absolutely no answer. Fast forward one week, which brings us to today, September 6th. I went to pick up the lengha and it was not ready. I reminded the owner that I needed to wear the lengha tomorrow and he told me to come back in 4 hours.

    4 hours later, I go back to frontier and my lengha is COMPLETELY butchered. The waist band is crooked and does not fit right at all. The store is now closing and all the employees are rushing. The tailor tries to fix the lengha and proceeds to butcher it further.

    At this point in time, I am completely devastated and ready to cry. I spoke to the owner who offers me a refund. At this point, I am hesitant as I still have hope that this lengha can be fixed for me to wear it in time for tomorrow’s event. But by this point in time the employees are ready to go home and nobody could careless about fixing the outfit.

    So, I head to the front for a refund, so I thought. I am then told that they do not have the dupatta and cannot offer me a refund until I return the dupatta. The dupatta was with the entire outfit when it was dropped off for alterations. At no point in time was I asked to take the dupatta with me. The dupatta must have been misplaced by an employee, but that became my pill to swallow.

    The owner maintained that I should take some time out to look for the dupatta DURING MY WEDDING WEEK, notwithstanding my repeated attempts to tell him how stressful and unprofessional this all was. Just a piece of advice Frontier Bridal, don’t tell a bride that she’s “not the one and only person getting married” after you butcher her outfit and she is lost for words. Making comments like that shows how comfortable you are with leaving a bride high and dry before their wedding day.

    Moral of the story – they say you shouldn’t believe everything you read and to take it all with a grain of salt. As a soon to be bride, I put my faith in these people and now I am left outfit-less tomorrow. So as much as I’d like to say have faith in these people, don’t. There’s a reason they have crappy reviews and unhappy customers.

    No bride needs this type of stress prior to their big day.

    *VENDOR REVIEW* FRONTIER CLOTHING

    My experience was horrible at this store and I would like for everyone to know so they are aware of how unprofessional this store is!! The owner lied to me saying it would have been done at a certain time and when I went in he told me that they hadn’t even started it yet which was frustrating as it’s my wedding outfit! Then when I told him I wanted to change the outfit to something else and get something different since they didn’t start it yet he told me that they were 90% done the outfit which baffled me!

    I ended up choosing another outfit completely that cost me a little more. I got told that alterations would take a week so I went in after a week and it for me the same, it was almost like they didn’t do any work on it at all! So she told me to come in on Wednesday! I went in today and they told my fiancé and I that it would be 10 mins but made us wait 30 mins instead and kept saying “one more minute” when I tried it on it still fit the same ? so now they told us to come in on Saturday.

    Saturday rolls around and I didn’t end up going in so I gave them a extra day and went in on Sunday which is today! I went in to the store and the owner said that they need 30 mins to alter the outfit which pissed me off because they told me to come in on Saturday and pick it up and then I come the next day and it’s not even started on like what the hell!! The owner does not even give my older sister a chance to speak and say why we feel this is so ridiculous and he keeps talking over her. They surely DO NOT PUT THE CUSTOMER FIRST!!!

    I am so sickened and appalled by their service!!! I WILL NEVER GO BACK AND NEITHER WILL ANY OF MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS!!!!!!!

    I’m just upset with how unprofessional they are compared to some other places!

    Every time I’d call the store and ask for the update they would ask me my name, phone number, price of outfit and how the outfit looked! The women there would say they would call me back within a couple mins after they asked the owner about it but failed to do so! They did this to me more than 6 times on separate occasions! I just got exhausted dealing with them because as a bride you are paying them so much money but they stress you out so much!

    They don’t care weather or not your a bride they are blood sucking leeches who make ur big day horrible!!

    After going in and out of the store multiple times trying on the outfit they were supposed to do alterations on that didn’t fit me even after they did alterations! I ended up having to choose a completely different outfit and change my entire wedding colour scheme due to their unprofessionalism.

    Had great experiences with frontier and made in India myself. My wedding outfit was from frontier and reception from made in India. Price and quality was great for both. Just give frontier enough notice in advance. I ordered my outfit in December and the lehnga and chunni came in Feb and the blouse in March. It needed some alterations so it was ready in April. My wedding was in August so I ordered well in advance. The customer service at both these places was great. I personally didnt like the service at sunny much. I went in alone to look around and they kind of brushed me off as a kid shopping alone and disnt really take me seriously which is not great service in my opinion.

    Well groomed and Sunny’s bridal were too pricey, I went to frontier and got better prices for better outfits than the ones I’d been looking at before. Well groomed is the best option for the groom’s outfit though, I didn’t see achkans anywhere near as nice anywhere else.

    We went to every store in Payal Business Center before we came to Frontier. My brother didn’t find an Achkan that he felt was right for him. Turns out that we had saved the best for last.

    Frontier has really stepped up their game with the quality and variety of outfits. As soon as we saw this Achkan, we all fell in love with it. My brother originally had something else in mind- he didn’t want to wear white or cream because he felt it didn’t suit his skin tone, but when he saw this Achkan he knew it was the one. Once he put it on, he felt it even more. As did our family.

    My mom and I bought some outfits as well. My moms outfits were ready made but needed alterations and mine was custom ordered. The alterations were completed on time, and my outfit fit perfectly when it arrived too. Sushil Uncle gave us a great deal on everything, and our experience with them was great.

    Had my reception lengha custom made from frontier and they followed each instruction perfectly. It was exactly how I wanted it and $1500 cheaper than what well groomed quoted for the same outfit.

    I would 100% recommend going with frontier. I had all of my wedding outfits from them, I think I had 5, 3 of which were designed by me and made by them and they definitely delivered beyond my expectations!

    I would definitely recommend Frontier. I got my custom reception outfit from them last year and it was exactly what we discussed and designed. We got my husbands outfit and it was perfect! No issues with anything. They also altered my outfit from India to fit exactly. Everything was on time and professional.

    We had a really good experience from them!! My husband order his wedding outfit plus the grooms men outfit too. Quality was good! We also ordered outfit for my cousins wedding and we didn’t have any problems… we dealt with the uncle there ( not the owner but another uncle)

    I have also ordered some of my outfits from frontier for ny pre wedding events, the grooms outfit, all my immediate families outfits. The owner is SO RUDE. My outfits came out so bad they actually had to remake one of then entirely because it was such terrible workmanship and wasnt even the correct fabric. The grooms outfit had to also get re made because it wasnt what we ordered. I paid so much for custom outfits but they look so cheap. I can wait for this to be over. I never want to order from then again.

    If doing custom – try frontier. They customized my entire outfit. Easier to work with them as opposed to others for me because of the detail, style of embroidery, and colours I wanted. Hope that helps!

    Was amazing! They have a large selection of bridal outfits and I found my dream outfit in store. I was worried about timing so I told them I need my outfit fast! I ordered in June and received it in August!

    they had great customer service. Simran knew exactly what I was looking for. The issue we had was the latkan were not the ones I had asked for they didn’t not match the outfit. They were able to fix this by ordering custom ones that I previously had asked for. They had called multiple times saying that The lengha was ready along with the alternations that needed to be done. When I drove back to pick up the lengha 2 months late and tried it on, the pins were still in place as the alterations weren’t done. Then the day of the reception 20 minutes before walking in my nala (drawstring) snapped. We had also requested for a stronger nala in which to they responded this is strong it won’t snap as they gave us their word. The initial customer service was great until the purchase then it was difficult to contact and get a hold of them.

    The service here is really nice! Best to come in after booking an appointment and someone who is available will help you out once you arrive. You get to try on as many outfits as you like and they’re really accommodating. I made a last minute change to my outfit after buying and the owner and Kiran auntie who helped us out each time we went were super courteous. Never made us feel bad about being indecisive and coming in. I didn’t feel awkward shopping here either unlike other stores! We’ll see how it goes after the outfit comes in a few months but I’m a winter bride so I’m not worried about timing.

    My fiancé and I went to frontier for our wedding/jaggo outfits. We ordered our outfits on March 5th advising we get married 3rd week of May and asked if that was enough time. We were told everything will be here by the end of April so we have enough time for alterations etc and no last minute panic or rush trips to the store. With that guarantee my fiancé and I placed our orders. Along with us our siblings and sister-in-law placed their orders and bought some items off the rack and left it behind for alterations. All of this was taken on hand comfortably and they were adamant nothing will be late. They told us to give them a call on April 15 to remind of our orders, therefore they can send an inquiry to their tailors in India. Come April 15th, I gave them a call and they took down my info and said they’d give me call after they check with uncle. Two days go by and I don’t hear back. I call again and same loop hole and they hit me with we’ll call you back. At this moment my stress begins and I decide to go into the store. I touch base with uncle, and he starts showing me WhatsApp messages saying it’s ready and will be here on “Monday”. I leave as he sounded confident that both my wedding and jaggo outfit will be here, jaggo one being a few days after wedding plus my fiancés outfit palla and turban. I go back Monday. I was told it now was “almost ready” and will be here latest Thursday or Friday and if not these days then 100% the following Monday. We are now 2 weeks away from our wedding date. I go back Thursday, nothing go back Friday, nothing, I go back Monday and we now have only my fiancés outfit and shoes. No sign of pagh and palla and they don’t even know what order info those two items are on and they didn’t send their typical “inquiry”. They kept putting it off and saying the paggh and palla are in transit after a few days of their “inquiry”.

    Everyday I went it was its coming tonight, the next day it was oh we haven’t opened our boxes or the delivery hasn’t been picked up. It was so frustrating. Then back to my outfits. It wasn’t made the way I made changes to the tulle and padding and had to be left for alterations after it finally arrived a week before mt wedding. Then the day I was told to pick up for alteration completion it wasn’t done so I had to leave empty handed. Then at last on Thursday which was 5 days before my wedding I got my wedding lehnga after alterations, the blue one arrived. However the pagg and palla that were supposedly in transit and delivery time was today tomorrow today tomorrow didn’t clearly get ordered. On our final attempt he told us wait till the evening, come in at 7:00 pm and we’ll hand it over. We go there, the pagh isn’t stitched as they said it would. It wasn’t the same fabric and same with the palla. We had ordered a velvet one and he gave us raw silk and when questioned he denied and said raw silk is better. I was sick of this store and their staff at this point and just decided to take what he had decided to just give to us from the store here because he didn’t order the pagh and palla in time.

    Moving on, my sister-in-law ordered a plain ivory color outfit, a sari blouse and one off the rack to get altered. He told us he doesn’t know anything about those outfits and he’ll see if he can get alterations done. A day before our jaggo event he did the alterations. The ivory outfit he straight up said it won’t be here in time for the wedding and to buy something off the rack and they’ll alter it. No shame in their game. Simply said that and went upon his day.

    They take orders on a piece of paper, super unorganized, and don’t have the best customer service. the one day I went in super frustrated about my alterations not being done as he stated come in Wednesday, I was like how do I know if I’ll even have my outfits by the wedding. You all are clueless yourself, uncle literally said “kosish poori ah” to get it to you on time which means we’re going to try our best to see if we can get your outfits in time and after saying this he walked away to other customers to take more orders that they probably can’t fulfil.

    I had to fit in a trip to frontier every day with enough wedding stuff on my plate to begin with. This place is super messy and I wouldn’t ever recommend it to anyone. Go spend your $$ somewhere else. He charges you in full whereas other places charge you half a deposit.

      I wish I had seen your email before we ordered from Frontier. We’re going through the same thing, EXCEPT we have time. The wedding isn’t until July 15, 2023. We ordered on Oct. 15th and we’re still waiting for the stuff. It’s Feb. 27th and I’m starting to get a bit anxious as we were told it would be around 4 months.

    I want to Thank Frontier Cloth House for their outstanding service in helping make my Son’s wedding and reception so perfect. Our outfits arrived on time. Fit perfectly. And most of all when I wasn’t happy with the style of the top for my lehngha the owner promised he would get it altered to my liking and have it ready in 2 weeks. It arrived and was perfect. Thank you again.

    they did a wonderful job customizing my wedding outfit and it turned out better than how I imagined it. The staff and uncle were very helpful. The only thing I would suggest to brides ordering outfits that have zippers is to make sure they put strong quality zippers not thin ones like the one they put on my dress (it almost broke on the morning of the wedding but luckily we managed to salvage it).

    All of my husbands outfits were spot on. I also got my bridal gown (converted from a lengha to a gown), and the bride maids outfits. My sisters and mum also got their outfits. I ordered my gown in November, arrived in April. Had to get the outfit taken in (wedding weight loss) and everything was ready by mid April. My only thing with Frontier is that you need to go in person to talk to them, phone communication was not the best. Otherwise service was great and I was very happy with all the outfits.

    We went to frontier in December (my engagement was in March) and found a lengha that I loved the design of but not the color. Neeru was amazing at helping me figure out which color would look good with it and just overall extremely helpful. The only thing I would say is we did have to continuously call to ask when it would be ready but they did send pictures to show that it was made and they just weren’t sure what shipment it would be coming in.

    Uncle delivered on everything I requested and my lehenga came on time for the big day. His sales associate that we worked with was patient and attentive. He has a beautiful collection of bridal lehengas and more. I was able to find something unique to customize to my taste. It was truly something from a fairytale. The alterations were also quick. Thank you Uncle!

    We had a great experience there for June wedding and loved it! It’s best to order at least 6 mos before or earlier. Very friendly staff and great customer service and budget friendly too. Show them vision ideas, refer to lots of pics especially for material choices , good luck 😊

    $4000 taken and no lengha provided

    Wedding date: July 15, 2022

    January 2022
    – Ordered wedding lengha – no customizations requested, simply display lengha to be made in my size
    – Expected delivery of April/May 2022
    – Full cost due of $4000 paid

    April 2022
    – Lengha arrived
    – Went into store to try on with staff present
    – Numerous errors: lengha skirt 5 inches too long, top at least 2 sizes too big, colours different than agreed upon
    – Staff reviewed their notes and agreed lengha was incorrectly made
    – Owner and staff stated entire new lengha would be made with rush delivery date of arrival to be June 2022
    – I advised staff it was essential I received it at least one month before the wedding so I would have time to get accessories and make alterations if was made incorrectly again

    End of May 2022
    – I followed up with staff to check if delivery date was still June, staff provided reassurance

    June 2022
    – I followed up with staff again for arrival date, was advised potential change to delivery date and ONLY 50% CHANCE OF ARRIVAL BY WEDDING
    – At this point with a 50/50 chance of receiving the lengha, I asked for a refund to cancel the order
    – The owner refused to provide a refund or allow for a different lengha or any options besides waiting to see if the lengha would be delivered in time for my wedding

    At this point, I am a bride one month away from my wedding, being told that my lengha may not arrive AFTER the original date of arrival was delayed by months and I had followed up multiple times.

    July 2022: LENGHA DID NOT ARRIVE IN TIME FOR MY WEDDING

    Fortunatley I was able to find a lengha off the rack at a different store weeks before my wedding.

    Since then I have followed up with the store multiple times but the owner has REFUSED to provide a refund. I did not get the lengha as per the agreement. Each time I spoke to the owner I was told he was busy and did not have time to chat any further. They refused to speak to me over the phone and I was required to go into the store to just be ignored.

    It has been almost a year and I have had no luck. If anyone has any advice for legal action for this fraudulent transaction as the product was never delivered, please do comment or message me. If others have also had this experience, please send me a message and perhaps we can work together to demand a refund or take legal action.

    I just wanted to give a quick review on Frontier Cloth House in Surrey.
    What an amazing experience. We ordered all our wedding outfits from here. The Grooms achkan, kurta’s for pre-wedding events, parents outfits, wedding party outfits….you name it.
    Pooja and her team were amazing. The service received and the attention to detail was bang on. A special shout to Kiran didi as well for being even more attentive.
    If you want great customer service, on time performance and high quality suits, this is the place to go. Thank you to the entire team there.

    We got my bridal lengha from Frontier. We had a really good experience. We ordered 9 months before my wedding. It allowed them enough time to make my lengha and we still had enough time for alterations. I had it altered twice before my wedding and had no issues.

    I got my engagement, wedding and reception outfit from Frontier. I totally recommend them. I worked directly with Raj auntie and have nothing but amazing things to say about her. Anytime I would call to check in she would give me an update. I ordered my outfit around seven months before our event and we got it three months before our wedding. They were great with alterations and everything was done in a timely manner. I would say if you’re going in to talk to Raj auntie she’ll take great care of you.

    My husbands outfit was from frontier and it turned out amazing. The date for delivery was accurate. We made custom changes to the outfit, and each change turned out perfect. They even went above and beyond to help us match a better pala colour without us even asking them. Very pleased with their service!

    For all our outfits we got them from Frontier Cloth House. I can not say enough good things about them. Harvinder was the best she helped us with all our outfits. Our outfits were just amazing and exactly what we wanted. She was so patient with us. Karan was also so amazing. She only took our measurements once and the fitting was amazing. Pooja and her brother were also great to work with. We got all our outfits on time and they were perfect. Frontier staff were very professional, helpful and prices are reasonable. You are getting what you are paying for.
