This is by far the worst company I have eve dealt with in my life. We just had them for our engagement in the backyard. The customer service was horrible, the owner Amrit never picked up our calls. The tents had holes in them and the workers didn’t strap the tents in properly so the tents filled with rain. They refused to adhere to the contract and install the fans we ordered. They only installed them after I finally made the employee call the owner from his phone so he actually answered and I could speak to him only to have him be disrespectful on the phone. They also damaged the property by smashing some of the cement off our newly completed stairs in the front with the tent poles and then turned around and said it wasn’t them. DO NOT book this company they are a headache and the owner is horrible, he doesn’t know how to service customers.
Back in February last year I won an Instagram contest by Divine Tent Rentals, Divine Luxury Rentals (vehicles). The prize was discounted services (see first screenshot). We signed contracts for 2 tents and 1 vehicle for our wedding. Everything was fine up to that point. Our tent contracts were for May 30-June 5 and despite the owner Amrit Kaler telling us he would update us on set up time, he kept ghosting us. May 30th rolls by and still no information. He ignored my DMs, texts, and calls. He picked up my FIL’s calls and kept lying that he was “on the way” the entire day. I was getting my henna done that day and we needed the tent for an event so you can imagine how stressed my parents were. At 10pm I tried calling and it went straight to voicemail and I received a “sorry I’m busy right now” automated text. I texted him after that and he was super unprofessional and rude. My FIL called him again and the owner spoke rudely to him and hung up. He then proceeded to block me on Instagram and to this day has not contacted us. He has $300 in deposits from us for services that he didn’t show up for. Do yourself a favour and stay clear of Amrit Kaler and his scam businesses
Scammers!!! Do not book! Owner came and did measurements of the backyard to see if it will fit. One day before the event, they come to set it up and say it will not fit. Now he is refusing to give back the deposit. Even after messing up himself, owner is very disrespectful and blocked contact with us.
These reviews are not fake despite what the owner will tell you. He promised me one vision and delivered something entirely different. He will be extremely nice to you to get you to sign a contract and then as soon as he has the deposit it is downhill from there. He is extremely rude and disrespectful. Only in it for the money. He dumped all the chairs and tables without setting up because in the fine print in the contract it says set up not included so make sure you read the contract. The dance floor he set up was completely uneven that the floor wrap bubbled and cracked and he told me that it was my lawn that was uneven and this is a $1000 landscaping job.
Constantly texted me for 30$ because one of my other vendors burned his table cloths on my WEDDING DAY despite me saying I would send it after the wedding. The tent in our backyard stayed in our backyard for a day longer than it should have. We are not his storage company.

I agree 110% with all the other reviews, Amrit the owner says a lot in the beginning to get the contract however do not deliver anything proper. I wish i would have read all these reviews earlier. I just don’t know why is he in this business when he has no sense of delivering what he promotes and on top of it talks so rude to you as of you are doing him a favour by booking him. Can agree with all reviews. Booked back in March, was super nice and courteous when he came to measure backyard. After contract was signed his tone did seem a bit off. Anyways, day of set-up I receive a notice that he won’t be taking my order and retunrned my deposit, all happened the dat before two wedding events I had planned since March when I booked. God knows all else, but clearly there is a pattern of unprofessional service and ghosting. Leaving me super stressed, and seeking last minute tent rentals for more than double the price due to last minute pricing premium. If you can’t do the job just don’t take it, or let me know a few weeks before atleast.

Divine Tent Rentals. All prior reviews are 100% correct. The owner, Amrit, seems promising at first but cannot provide you with the service you want. Forget supplying and completing a tent set up, which by the way, I cannot speak on because I cancelled him before he could ruin my event, but customer service and integrity is PARAMOUNT when you run a business. Not only did Amrit avoid my emails and calls, he was less than kind to my event planner when she finally got a hold of him, and he stood my parents up twice when they requested him to do a second survey of their property to ensure the tent would fit (not sure why he agreed to accommodate this request if he had no intention of seeing it through.) To be very clear, we were polite and calm in all interactions with this company, so there was no reason for us to be treated this way. The final straw was that I had asked them to provide me with a time for set up as I needed to coordinate with my decoration vendor. A day and a half before my event, they stated “we’ll be there in the afternoon/ evening.” … No actual time was given. Not only do they have no respect for their customers, but neither for other vendors either. Anyway, enough about the bad. The GOOD news is – I was able to find a replacement company, and they are INCREDIBLE! @highlineinternational not only executed my vision, but calmed my nerves. Their work is impeccable and the respect they have for their customers is unlike many others. Do yourself a favour and book them 🙂 I hope Divine agent Rentals will learn over time how to become a better vendor, and I wish them the best.
Amrit owner Divine tents very irresponsible person 6 months before fixed tenants and paid advance send me contract copies, day before my event he supposed fix the two tents plus chairs, tables, lights and 4 big standing fans. All day I’m waiting for him keep calling him and extending time finally his worker came after midnight fixed tents 2 AM morning my wedding events 8 am morning. In middle Amrit told me if you don’t wants to wait canceled the contract and I will refund your advance money. I get shocked there’s no time to change another tents company because he threatened me I’m scared and talking to politely because I need tents early morning. After fixing some tables are chairs very bad conditions. I paid all full amount cash. When morning my events started there no fans delivered August 27th 2024 very hot day over 35 temperatures sunny day. I called him morning about fans he told me not big deal and he’s not bringing. Originally, he had promised to set up the tent on the morning of my event day because he had other bookings in Kitchener, making it convenient for his team to do both setups. I agreed, but when I asked for a specific time a few days before the wedding week , he refused to give me a clear answer and said he would come in the evening —completely disregarding what he’d previously promised. When I confronted him about the change, he became defensive, rude, and unprofessional, telling me he would come whenever he wanted and that it wasn’t his problem. He even had the audacity to suggest I should hold my event indoors! Who is he to dictate how I should plan my wedding?
I ended up canceling the contract because I wasn’t going to let him ruin one of the most important days of my life. Thankfully, I hired someone else, and they did a fantastic job, leaving me stress-free throughout the entire wedding week.
Also, make sure to get everything in writing. His words mean nothing, and he will ask you to show proof later This company’s customer service is non-existent, and I’m shocked that they continue to get away with such unprofessional behavior. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere for your event needs.
I would never recommend these guys to anyone. Initially the owner Amrit Kaler is very nice to you until the contract is signed. Then he would make you run in circles, never confirming the setup time even two days before the event. He responds to the calls and texts if he feels like and is rude at times. We agreed to pay extra to setup up tent a day early but you can never get a commitment from him which kind of shows that he does not even honour his own contract. Very unprofessional and make the life hard when you already have a wedding to worry about. We ended up cancelling him two days prior to our event and booked someone else who was professional and punctual. If you want peace of mind and better service go somewhere else and save your deposit. I believe his business model is just to take deposits and then he wants to get ride off customers by giving them tough time so he can keep the money and not have to provide any service.
Terrible service. We booked this company for my cousin’s wedding and it was the worst decision we ever made. Do not recommend whatsoever. Amrit is impossible to get a hold of and requested the money up front. Almost as if he knows he is offering subpar service. We received 2 tents and they were both full of holes. Some holes had tape covering them but many of them were not covered, when we asked him to replace the tents then he said it’s not possible because they don’t have any extra tents. Luckily we were able to get a hold of another company who was able to accommodate us last minute and made it work. After that he denied to give us our $400 deposit money back even though it is not our fault at all and now He’s not responding to the calls/messages.
Absolutely terrible company. Amrit Kaler is a scam artist pretending to be a business man. Garbage quality tents, double booking events and just sending tents to whoever pays more regardless of contractual obligations, cussing clients off, etc. Dude is one hell of a piece of work. I wouldn’t recommend these trash bags to my worst enemy.
DIVINE TENTS TORONTO the worst company I have ever dealt with. They cancelled our tent the week of my wedding for no apparent reason and completely ghosted us, not returning the deposit until we threatened them with legal action. at first they kept delaying the setup and then they completely ghosted us, the only explanation is that they overbooked. this left my planner scrambling to find a large tent that fit our guest count on short notice in the middle of wedding season. my planner warned me not to book them but I still thought I would take the chance because their pricing was good and their social media makes it seem that they are a good vendor. DO NOT BOOK THEM, all of these reviews are clearely so true and I wish i saw them beforehand to save myself the stress. As a bride this is the worst experience to have and completely unnecessary stress.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with this tent company was unacceptable from start to finish. Once they had our money, their attitude completely changed. The customer service became shockingly rude and dismissive.
The tent we received was dirty and had noticeable rips, which was incredibly frustrating, especially for an important event. They also gave us extremely dirty tables and one of them was broken as well. When we tried to raise our concerns, we were met with hostility rather than any effort to make things right.
To make matters worse, the owner personally threatened not to set up the tent for my fiancé’s event—a completely unprofessional and upsetting move. It was clear that their only priority was getting paid, not delivering quality service or treating customers with basic respect.
Come time to pick up the tent, they initially asked for an extra $250 to have the tent up an extra day but didn’t even come until the day after. They have no regard for others time and inconvenienced us.
All in all, they now have us blocked on Instagram so we can’t even tag them. I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere. There are plenty of companies out there that care about their customers and take pride in their work—unfortunately, this is not one of them.
We used Divine Tent Rentals for our wedding this past May, and the experience was truly a nightmare. We had a clearly agreed-upon setup time of 12 PM, but the crew didn’t arrive until 8 PM… and only completed part of the setup. A second team showed up at midnight to finish the job, and left at 5 AM!!! which was incredibly stressful and unacceptable the night before our wedding.

I’m not gonna lie, working with them is very frustrating. Where do I start, I booked two tents one for my house and one for my wife’s house for wedding events. Everything went smoothly with my wife’s and, but he wasn’t able to deliver and set up the tent on time, I felt like I paid for an extra day for no reason, and he even tried to gaslight me going against my contract details and saying when we verbally spoke, we had agreed to a different days. Look what the hell not even a sorry or I made a huge mistake. Kind of thing he was trying to save his own word or something like that? I don’t know, don’t book with them. There’s a couple other vendors out there that offer around the same price that are better. Probably stressed me out the most in terms of vendors that I dealt with for my wedding weekend.

Messed up my cousin’s wedding events by not showing up and then ignored my phone calls for over a month until we had called unblocked and he answered and then hung up and sent a message about confirming his services. A month prior to my wedding, I sent a message to inquire about an ETA of when my tents would set up and if one cannot be provided I will essentially need to source other options (I would like to note I never once cancelled the service). I was told that ETA cannot be provided as the company completes bookings out in the west end and then will travel to the east end in the late evening after rush hour and to check in a few days before my set up date. This response was a complete joke because how is it fair that if you live out in the east end your tent will be set up late in the evening into the night time hours? As far as I am concerned, then you should have never accepted the booking and taken a deposit. As a “business man” Amrit should have had the decency to contact me to advise of a set up time a day or two prior to my event. The day of my set up, around 11pm I have not heard from him on when he was coming to set up the tents. I sent a message inquiring about when he was planning to show up and immediately he continually accused me of cancelling his services, which I never did and all my message prove same. He continued to text to tell me that he did not hear from me (when he fully had my deposit so a booking is confirmed), his guys are are packed and ready to go, waiting to hear from me and he can come now ( after 11pm at night) but yet in another message said that because he did not hear from me so he assumed I no longer wanted the services. The constant back and forth with him was ridiculous telling me to bring it on when I mentioned I would be serving him with legal documents, telling me lawyers costs money etc. and becoming very unprofessional to the point I simply said refund my money or I will personally serve you with legal documents (which I had every intention of doing so) and blocked him as I did not need this added stress to my wedding weekend. This company is a joke and scam artists. He promises you all the bells and whistles and cannot perform or having common decency to communicate with people after he has taken their money. I had hopes for this company as they did a wedding for a friend of mine last year with no issues but clearly, he is under cutting the industry. Avoid them with all costs and go with someone else, who is more reliable and professional.
Kind of late posting this review, but this company has no customer service and is just greedy for the deposit. Once they get your deposit, they offer 0 flexibility to make changes or cancel. This anrit guy doesnt answer phone calls or reply in a timely manner either. Would strongly advise against using this company because they’ll just ruin your event.

September 23, 2024 at 10:12 amI had a terrible experience with this tent company, and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. Initially, the owner Amrit seemed nice and helpful when he came to our backyard to take measurements for our wedding setup. However, everything changed once we sent the deposit. He started ignoring our calls and texts, which was the first red flag.
Originally, he had promised to set up the tent on the morning of my event day because he had other bookings in Kitchener, making it convenient for his team to do both setups. I agreed, but when I asked for a specific time a few days before the wedding week , he refused to give me a clear answer and said he would come in the evening —completely disregarding what he’d previously promised. When I confronted him about the change, he became defensive, rude, and unprofessional, telling me he would come whenever he wanted and that it wasn’t his problem. He even had the audacity to suggest I should hold my event indoors! Who is he to dictate how I should plan my wedding?
I ended up canceling the contract because I wasn’t going to let him ruin one of the most important days of my life. Thankfully, I hired someone else, and they did a fantastic job, leaving me stress-free throughout the entire wedding week.
Also, make sure to get everything in writing. His words mean nothing, and he will ask you to show proof later This company’s customer service is non-existent, and I’m shocked that they continue to get away with such unprofessional behavior. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere for your event needs.

September 28, 2024 at 7:36 pmI would never recommend these guys to anyone. Initially the owner Amrit Kaler is very nice to you until the contract is signed. Then he would make you run in circles, never confirming the setup time even two days before the event. He responds to the calls and texts if he feels like and is rude at times. We agreed to pay extra to setup up tent a day early but you can never get a commitment from him which kind of shows that he does not even honour his own contract. Very unprofessional and make the life hard when you already have a wedding to worry about.
We ended up cancelling him two days prior to our event and booked someone else who was professional and punctual.
If you want peace of mind and better service go somewhere else and save your deposit. I believe his business model is just to take deposits and then he wants to get ride off customers by giving them tough time so he can keep the money and not have to provide any service.

October 12, 2024 at 8:19 pmTerrible service. We booked this company for my cousin’s wedding and it was the worst decision we ever made. Do not recommend whatsoever. Amrit is impossible to get a hold of and requested the money up front. Almost as if he knows he is offering subpar service. We received 2 tents and they were both full of holes. Some holes had tape covering them but many of them were not covered, when we asked him to replace the tents then he said it’s not possible because they don’t have any extra tents. Luckily we were able to get a hold of another company who was able to accommodate us last minute and made it work. After that he denied to give us our $400 deposit money back even though it is not our fault at all and now He’s not responding to the calls/messages.

Garbage quality tents, double booking events and just sending tents to whoever pays more regardless of contractual obligations, cussing clients off, etc. Dude is one hell of a piece of work. I wouldn’t recommend these trash bags to my worst enemy.

They cancelled our tent the week of my wedding for no apparent reason and completely ghosted us, not returning the deposit until we threatened them with legal action. at first they kept delaying the setup and then they completely ghosted us, the only explanation is that they overbooked. this left my planner scrambling to find a large tent that fit our guest count on short notice in the middle of wedding season. my planner warned me not to book them but I still thought I would take the chance because their pricing was good and their social media makes it seem that they are a good vendor. DO NOT BOOK THEM, all of these reviews are clearely so true and I wish i saw them beforehand to save myself the stress. As a bride this is the worst experience to have and completely unnecessary stress.

June 14, 2025 at 5:51 pmI rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with this tent company was unacceptable from start to finish. Once they had our money, their attitude completely changed. The customer service became shockingly rude and dismissive.
The tent we received was dirty and had noticeable rips, which was incredibly frustrating, especially for an important event. They also gave us extremely dirty tables and one of them was broken as well. When we tried to raise our concerns, we were met with hostility rather than any effort to make things right.
To make matters worse, the owner personally threatened not to set up the tent for my fiancé’s event—a completely unprofessional and upsetting move. It was clear that their only priority was getting paid, not delivering quality service or treating customers with basic respect.
Come time to pick up the tent, they initially asked for an extra $250 to have the tent up an extra day but didn’t even come until the day after. They have no regard for others time and inconvenienced us.
All in all, they now have us blocked on Instagram so we can’t even tag them. I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere. There are plenty of companies out there that care about their customers and take pride in their work—unfortunately, this is not one of them.

June 26, 2025 at 10:45 amWe used Divine Tent Rentals for our wedding this past May, and the experience was truly a nightmare. We had a clearly agreed-upon setup time of 12 PM, but the crew didn’t arrive until 8 PM… and only completed part of the setup. A second team showed up at midnight to finish the job, and left at 5 AM!!! which was incredibly stressful and unacceptable the night before our wedding.
The tents were dirty, had visible holes, and the lighting provided was minimal, nowhere near what was advertised. Communication with the owner was extremely frustrating; he ignored phone calls and only replied via text with excuse after excuse for their delays. His tone was rude and unprofessional throughout the process.
While the pricing might seem appealing and the owner may come across as friendly at first, do not be fooled. This company was unreliable and added unnecessary stress to what should have been a joyful event. I would NEVER recommend Divine Tent Rentals to anyone.

July 15, 2025 at 10:06 amTerrible bad and very stressful experience. I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was so frustrating I feel obligated to warn others.
We hired this tent service for an important event, and it was a complete disaster. The tent arrived hours late — by the time they started setting up, half the party was already over. Guests were left standing in the sun with nowhere to sit or gather, which completely threw off the vibe and planning of the entire event.
To make things worse, the owner was shockingly rude and unprofessional. Instead of apologizing for the delay, he demanded full payment before even starting the setup, and spoke in a very disrespectful tone. There was no sense of accountability or even basic courtesy.
I had high hopes for this service based on the promises made, but it turned into one of the most stressful and disappointing experiences I’ve had with a vendor. Absolutely would not recommend. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere.

July 15, 2025 at 11:33 amDo not book this company if you want headaches. He doesn’t have any tents of his own and hires other companies on his behalf which why he cant give you an eta all day long. Will not pickup your calls and only responds to text messages. He says they will come at 10am but show up at 1am the next night. Half of the stuff is missing. 5 different companies drop things off.

August 17, 2025 at 3:24 pmI’m not gonna lie, working with them is very frustrating. Where do I start, I booked two tents one for my house and one for my wife’s house for wedding events. Everything went smoothly with my wife’s and, but he wasn’t able to deliver and set up the tent on time, I felt like I paid for an extra day for no reason, and he even tried to gaslight me going against my contract details and saying when we verbally spoke, we had agreed to a different days. Look what the hell not even a sorry or I made a huge mistake. Kind of thing he was trying to save his own word or something like that? I don’t know, don’t book with them. There’s a couple other vendors out there that offer around the same price that are better. Probably stressed me out the most in terms of vendors that I dealt with for my wedding weekend.

August 25, 2025 at 8:35 amI hired Amrit of Divine Tents for my wedding and I will say this company is a scam. Messed up my cousin’s wedding events by not showing up and then ignored my phone calls for over a month until we had called unblocked and he answered and then hung up and sent a message about confirming his services. A month prior to my wedding, I sent a message to inquire about an ETA of when my tents would set up and if one cannot be provided I will essentially need to source other options (I would like to note I never once cancelled the service). I was told that ETA cannot be provided as the company completes bookings out in the west end and then will travel to the east end in the late evening after rush hour and to check in a few days before my set up date. This response was a complete joke because how is it fair that if you live out in the east end your tent will be set up late in the evening into the night time hours? As far as I am concerned, then you should have never accepted the booking and taken a deposit. As a “business man” Amrit should have had the decency to contact me to advise of a set up time a day or two prior to my event. The day of my set up, around 11pm I have not heard from him on when he was coming to set up the tents. I sent a message inquiring about when he was planning to show up and immediately he continually accused me of cancelling his services, which I never did and all my message prove same. He continued to text to tell me that he did not hear from me (when he fully had my deposit so a booking is confirmed), his guys are are packed and ready to go, waiting to hear from me and he can come now ( after 11pm at night) but yet in another message said that because he did not hear from me so he assumed I no longer wanted the services. The constant back and forth with him was ridiculous telling me to bring it on when I mentioned I would be serving him with legal documents, telling me lawyers costs money etc. and becoming very unprofessional to the point I simply said refund my money or I will personally serve you with legal documents (which I had every intention of doing so) and blocked him as I did not need this added stress to my wedding weekend. This company is a joke and scam artists. He promises you all the bells and whistles and cannot perform or having common decency to communicate with people after he has taken their money. I had hopes for this company as they did a wedding for a friend of mine last year with no issues but clearly, he is under cutting the industry. Avoid them with all costs and go with someone else, who is more reliable and professional.

Once they get your deposit, they offer 0 flexibility to make changes or cancel. This anrit guy doesnt answer phone calls or reply in a timely manner either. Would strongly advise against using this company because they’ll just ruin your event.

He turned what should have been a special day into the most stressful experience of my life.Even his own workers apologized to us and said we had chosen the wrong vendor. That tells you everything.
