I went in to Bombay hair to purchase hair extensions for my sisters wedding. Spoke to a employee that advised me which hair to buy and suggested to me that the hair I purchased would have no problem being toned to match my color as they didn’t have anything else that was a close enough match.. I asked her multiple times if she was sure and she kept advising me that it would be no problem. So I trusted her and with no intentions of returning the hair because she said no problem in coloring hair I opened the gold ties and was 1 week late trying to return them only because that is when I had my appointment with my hairdresser. When I took them to my hairdresser she immediately advised that the hair would be ruined if she tried to match it to my hair. It was not even close to a match. Her and 3 other stylists confirmed that. So I went back to get a refund on the hair, even the employee that took my hair back to the head office to get a resolution also advised that she should have never sold me that hair its not a match. We even tried to find alternative extensions to exchange them but they had no match to my hair. I would have never purchased them if it wasn’t for the employees suggestions to get them toned and if it wasn’t for her reassuring me it can be done. She is the professional right! A few days later they advised me that they could give me a refund minus a 25% restocking fee ( 114.00) in good faith. Really in good faith??? Ummm… your employee gave me wrong information and told me I could do something when I later found out even the website says not to color them. That is an error on your business that I am now being penalized for. I’ve asked multiple times to have the manager call me but no call yet its been over a week. They went ahead and refunded an amount I didn’t agree to and said this file is closed. So ladies, I suggest not to go to Bombay hair and trust this business. They don’t care about service. They don’t know what they are doing. They care about stealing money from people who don’t have any experience with hair and advising them incorrectly. Worst experience ever!!!!
