17 Honeymoon Destinations in British Columbia

In this post, we are going to share local destinations in British Columbia, where you and your partner can have your honeymoon. No flying required, for those who don’t mind driving!

As many couples continue to have their Indian weddings during this pandemic, brides and grooms have gotten creative! From having their haldi ceremonies in their backyards, to having small and socially distant wedding ceremonies outdoors, COVI19 has forced many to get creative with their wedding plans. In this post, we won’t be talking about getting creative with weddings. We will be talking about getting creative with honeymoons!

British Columbia is rich with honeymoon destination options. If you want to hit up some beach-front resorts or enjoy the island life, Vancouver Island isn’t far from the mainland!  If you are looking for romance in the wilderness, there are many lodges and glamping options further inland, in British Columbia.  For wine lovers, head on over to the east-side of the province. If you want to stay in an urban environment, Victoria, downtown Vancouver, and Whistler are options.

Not sure where to start? Keep scrolling down to see some awesome destinations and resorts below. We grouped them into 4 sections. The first section will be dedicated to Beach and Island-themed options. The second section will be dedicated to Nature-themed options. The third set of options will focus on wineries. The final set of options will focus on city-focused destinations.  Enjoy!
